Level-up your tea brewing with this in depth look at advanced tea brewing. Each guest will get to try their hands at using a gaiwan. We will gain an understanding of different tea brewing vessels, shapes, and material construction - how does porous clay affect tea vs porcelain? Round "egg" shaped pots vs flat? What teas benefit from different styles?
During this session, we will brew and taste the following teas:
- Heavenly Sips (Tian Jian Fu Cha - Dark Tea)
- Fairy Fire (Alishan - Taiwan High Mountain Oolong)
- Gyokuro (Japanese shade-grown Green Tea)
